Morning Sun (Poem)

 Morning Sun

By B. Diana Eakin

Good Morning Sol

To the brightest radiance in the sky and the hottest fire

Do thy divine task we beseech thee, give us thy display

I will shine and give life, and burn to the heart’s desire.

I greet the world, bask in my radiance as I rise each day

Each morning, I gaze upon thy light, how the bird flies above

I am the divine mother of the planets, I am the star queen.

To Dusk and the twilight hours, to thee I give my warm love.Good Morning Sol

To the brightest radiance in the sky and the hottest fire

Do thy divine task we beseech thee, give us thy display

I will shine and give life, and burn to the heart’s desire.

I greet the world, bask in my radiance as I rise each day

Each morning, I gaze upon thy light, how the bird flies above

I am the divine mother of the planets, I am the star queen.

To Dusk and the twilight hours, to thee I give my warm love.
